Hele Fuels H.O.M.E.

The Houseless Outreach & Medical Education (H.O.M.E.) project was founded in August of 2005 and currently provides free medical services to sheltered and unsheltered houseless individuals, through multiple weekly student-run free clinics at sites across Oahu. In addition to these clinics, they also utilize our mobile health van for outreach to other unsheltered houseless populations on Oahu and to provide special events for the keiki at the shelters.

Par Hawaii provided a gift of $10,000, which would help provide fuel (@ Hele locations) to their medical van (seen below) and four other fleet vehicles. The H.O.M.E team expressed their gratitude, because weekly site and clinic locations to Waianae and other parts of Oahu would not be possible without our support. Last year, the team made 1,974 patient visits and gave countless medical care to communities across Oahu. We’re proud to support the H.O.M.E Project for helping improve the quality and access to health care to our underserved populations.
