Richard Creamer - Vice President and General Manager

Mr. Creamer was appointed Vice President and General Manager of Par Hawaii’s 94,000-barrels-per-day petroleum refinery in September 2017. He has 30 years of senior level experience in the energy industry. Before joining Par Hawaii, he worked for Flint Hills Resources at Port Arthur Chemicals, LLC as Site Director and Operations Manager overseeing all aspects of the ethylene plant comprised of 240 full-time employees and between 200 and 1,200 contract employees. Prior to that, he served as Manufacturing and Operations Manager of the 290,000-barrels-per-day Corpus Christi Refineries, LLC petroleum refinery, also a part of Flint Hills Resources. Mr. Creamer also served in leadership and engineering roles at INVISTA in Houston, Texas; Lyondell and LyondellBasell, also in Houston; and Koch Refining in Corpus Christi, Texas. Mr. Creamer received a BS in chemical engineering from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, and a Certificate in Finance and Accounting from Rice University in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Yates was appointed President, Marketing and Logistics of Par Hawaii in April 2015. Prior to this, he served as CEO and President of Mid Pac Petroleum, LLC from August 2007 until Par Petroleum’s acquisition of Mid Pac. Mr. Yates also served as President and CEO for Hawaii Gas (formerly The Gas Company) from 2003 to 2007, including a period in which he oversaw operations for a related company, Kauai Electric. Earlier in his career, Mr. Yates spent 11 years at BHP Petroleum in oil and gas exploration and production in positions of increasing responsibility before transferring in 1993 to Honolulu as Vice President – Corporate Development for BHP Hawaii. He serves as a member of The Queen’s Health Systems Board of Trustees and is a member of the Board of City Mill Co., Ltd., the YMCA of Honolulu, the Governors for Chaminade University and the Energy Institute, Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Yates also serves as a trustee on the David D. Ai Charitable Trust. Mr. Yates holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma and a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.



Mr. Wright was appointed Senior Vice President in March 2017. He is responsible for Par Hawaii’s logistics system and related business development opportunities. Mr. Wright joined Par Pacific, the parent company of Par Hawaii, in April 2013 and he has been involved in Par Hawaii’s operations since the acquisition of Tesoro Hawaii. Prior to joining Par Pacific, Mr. Wright was on the M&A and divestiture team at The AES Corporation, a global electric generation and utility company. Prior to AES, Mr. Wright was on the treasury team at Xcel Energy, Inc. where he contributed to the development of a $2 billion transmission joint venture involving eleven utilities. Mr. Wright’s experience also includes five years in venture capital where he participated in debt and equity capital raises, and managed a complex fund restructuring transaction. Mr. Wright is a CFA charter-holder and has a bachelor’s degree in International Economics from Georgetown University. He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.



Mr. Lee was appointed Vice President – Retail in April 2015. He has more than 32 years in the petroleum industry. Mr. Lee is responsible for all aspects of retail fuel and company-operated convenience store sales in Hawaii. Prior to joining Par Hawaii, Mr. Lee held managerial and executive positions in key marketing and business development roles during his career at Pacific Resources, Inc. (PRI), where he was instrumental in expanding the marine fuel oil market in Hawaii which included establishing PRI as a reliable supplier of diesel bunkers for mothership tankers. In his roles as Marketing Development Manager, Wholesale Marketing Manager and VP of Marketing, Mr. Lee was instrumental in the development and execution of marketing strategies that increased on-island gasoline and diesel sales through both wholesale and retail channels of trade. Most recently, he served as Senior Regional Manager for Tesoro Corporation’s retail operations in Hawaii where he increased profitability through enhanced margin performance and cost effectiveness. Mr. Lee holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa Shidler College of Business. He is married with two children and in his spare time enjoys golfing and coaching volleyball. Mr. Lee actively supports local nonprofit organizations such as Aloha United Way and Special Olympics Hawaii.



Mr. Yoshida is Vice President, Planning and Business Development and has worked in the energy industry for nearly 30 years. At Hawaii Gas, a division of the former BHP Petroleum, Mr. Yoshida held positions of increasing responsibility in operations, engineering, sales, marketing, and business development. He also served as a strategic analyst responsible for analyzing and optimizing the downstream distribution of refined products through various company channels. In 2008, he left his position as Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development to join Mid Pac Petroleum, a privately held, locally owned company and exclusive licensee for the 76 brand of gasoline in Hawaii, where he served as Vice President of Business Development and Secretary. He was responsible for the development of new fueling stations, mergers and acquisitions, advertising, marketing, promotions, IT, retail gas stations and convenience stores. Mr. Yoshida served on the Board for the West Oahu Economic Development Association from 2005 - 2014 as President and Chair, Vice Chair, and Treasurer. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for Enterprise Honolulu and is Vice Chair of the Parish Council for Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific University.
