Waikoloa Kings Course, created by British Open champion Tom Weiskopf with design partner Jay Morrish is, appropriately, a Scottish-style layout in paradise. The 7,064-yard, par-72 track meanders in and out of ancient lava fields and features 83 strategically-placed sand traps and pot bunkers along with other authentic links golf trappings such as double greens and undulating fairways.
If you want to challenge your golf skills, try the Waikoloa Beach Resort Kings' Golf Course. Golfers will enjoy the course not only for its challenging play but for its beauty, with huge lava rock formations, long lakes and abundance of grass and white, sandy bunkers.
There are plenty of good holes on the Kings course and it's the course on which most of Waikoloa's tournaments are held. Black lava fields, sparkling blue lakes, white sand bunkers and formidable Mauna Kea on the horizon provide plenty of scenery.

- Wear sunscreen. Even in the winter months, the sun can cause sunburn, which can really ruin your golf vacation.
